Accounting company: 20 1C bases were loaded onto one server
The client contacted us due to slow performance of 1C, system hangs, and constant server load. The company was using around 20 working databases, and the current setup could no longer handle daily work by accountants.
What was done
We started not by purchasing new equipment but with a load audit and 1C workflow analysis.
Load diagnosis
We checked server resources, disk subsystem, memory, network load, and database behavior during working hours.
Switch to DB
Moved operations to a more correct server setup with a database, removing unnecessary load from the file system mode.
Server version of 1C
Configured the server side, checked user access rights and prepared a clear maintenance plan.
Result
- The server no longer constantly hits resource limits during normal accounting work.
- The stability and predictability of 20 databases have improved.
- The client received a clear diagram for future 1C and server maintenance.
- A foundation for further scaling without chaotic equipment replacement has emerged.
